|Mary Ann (Laber) Baughman, 100, a resident of Golden Heights Personal Care Home, Penn Township, formerly of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born Dec. 11, 1913, in North Huntingdon, the daughter of the late Fred and Josephine (Cipra) Laber. Prior to retirement, she was the bookkeeper for Glenn J. Baughman Excavation. She was a charter member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior, North Huntingdon, and a member of the WELCA. She was formerly active with the Cereal Women's Club, the Norwin Lionesses and the West Hempfield Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn J. Baughman; brothers, Edward, Elmer and Wilbur Laber; and a granddaughter, Bonnie Jo. She is survived by children, Glenda Ann Wareham, of Jeannette, Kathleen (Sheldon) Madden, of Greensburg, and DeWayne (Karyn) Baughman, Allen (Mary Ellen) Baughman and Cynthy (John) Kisel, all of North Huntingdon; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Janice Altenburger officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Heights and Heartland Hospice for all the kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in Mary Ann's name to the endowment fund of Lutheran Church of Our Savior or the activity fund of Golden Heights Personal Care Home.
